Optimized skip filling at LKAB

Together with LKAB in Malmberget, our decision support group used digital twin technology to identify bottlenecks in the underground transport chain. The analysis revealed that the hoisting system was not being utilized to its full potential due to limitations in material flow measurement and filling accuracy.

By implementing advanced 3D volume measurement with our product 3DPM and optimizing the control logic, LKAB achieved:
