Pure hardness
At our technology days in Luleå 14-15 / 10, Johan Häggström gave a much-appreciated lecture about life as a national team skier on cross-country skis. Among other things, he described his training and what goals he set and how he has handled these in ups and downs. The training has in many ways been about creating a pure hardness, because that is what is required to perform at the highest elite level.
Very reminiscent of how we feel in the corporate world. It is important to be on your toes and understand the customers’ challenges and problems and help them to solve them in an efficient and flexible way. This requires competence, focus, commitment and “a pure hardness”.
